Is there anyway to input a video signal to display on a EFIS/MFD?

The AF-4500 does not have this capability. We are planning to implement video input on the AF-5600 display due to USB ports being integrated with the main processor.

Did this wind up happening? Can we input a video source from say a tail camera? How about USB based video playback?

Our software team is working on the video interface as we speak. No timeline at this point.

Did you ever incorporate this capability in the 5000 series?

We have not released it, we should have it before Oshkosh.

Will it work with a a gopro? I'm not going to dump $3K into a night vision system, but it would be nice to have some better taxi visibility on my rv6

So the interface to the EFIS will be a composite to USB cable that any camera with a composite video output can connect to?

That is what we are testing.

The home page now lists this as a feature, is it enabled in the pre-release firmware?

Currently the video only works on AF-5000 systems with a touch screen.
