I just installed my new ARINC device and ran all the wires as per diagrams to fully integrate with the GNS430W. The only thing that is not working is Fuel data to the GNS430W. I'm getting traffic, flight plans, gps, and seeing the correct HSI displays. The GNS430 reports no data received on SER1. On the AFS, there's no error message, and it seems to pass the SER1 test in the admin page, with packets rcvd and sent. I double-checked the pins and wires and it looks right.

The settings on the AFS are per manual: AVTN and ARNAV.
The SER1 in on the Garmin is as per manual: ARNAV/eifuel.

Any ideas on what to look at?
What does the SER1 test really verify?

The Serial #1 test shows data being transmitted and received. Are you sure you are wired to the correct pin on the GNS-430? It should be Pin 57 on the large 78 pin connector.

The problem was my wiring. Had SER1 GND and SER1 TX swapped on the EFIS Main. The GNS430W is no longer complaining about no data on SER1 in. Interesting that it passed the SER1 diag test.
