MV17 Functionality and support for OS 1 devices

I understand MV17 is due to be released next year with a rewritten map engine which will provide better support for EasyVFR and the exporting of European NavData onto the AFS 5600 Panel.

Are there any plans for a new version for OS 1 devices and if so will this be included ?

Unfortunately the near 10 year old OS 1 devices are just not powerful enough to run the current generations feature set. Which is why they became feature locked at Vx12. Our solution to this was to have the upgrade path to OS 5 hardware.
