PocketFMS Approach Plates

PocketFMS Geo - Referenced Approach plates and Airport Plates can be purchased for the EasyVFR 4 app. This is especially interesting for German customers and include the so called “Platzrunden” Visual Approach Plates. You may want to wait until the 2021 Plates are available as these Plates Run on Dynon SkyView but not on AFS EFIS Systems yet. Shawn McGinnis is working on this and he says he expects to have a trial version at the end of the month. I have already installed the 2020 Plates on my EasyVFR 4 app and they are awesome for Flight Planning enabling you to plan your flight all the way through the approach right down to the runway even now. You could store a flight plan for the case of a runway direction change. This way the plan you send to your EFIS would enable you to sit back and watch your auto pilot take you all the way to final approach at your destination if you wanted to.
