Any ADS-B traffic connectivity between a Lynx 9000 and my 5400 display?

Lynx L3 NGT-9000 can be connected to any AF-5000, or AF-3/4000s serial port using the configuration "ADSB 115K" when configured for GDL-90 protocol at 115200 baud.

Well, it seems that the NGT-9000 RS-232 serial output port does not support a direct connection to the efis for traffic or weather, only for connection to a wifi module. It has an RS-422 output for weather display, and ARINC 429 output for traffic display, and the wifi for traffic & weather for "personal electronic devices". Since both of my ARINC receiver channels are in use by the IFD440, it seems that a Wi-fi adapter & and running the efis in client mode is the only solution. Does that sound right? I can find no documentation on what the output protocol is, only that it outputs it to the app on the ipad.

My NGT-9000 is connected via ARINC 429 to my AF-5500 and it works great.

Sorry, I was looking at the wrong unit on my wiring diagram.

My NGT-9000 is wired via RS-232 from the NGT-9000 pin 64 to the AF-5500 pin 5 of the EFIS Main Connector. It works great and no wifi needed between them.

Thanks for the reply. I currently have pins 62 & 61 wired to pins 5 7 4 on the efis, with the wifi module installed on pins 64 & 63. How do you have the serial port set on the efis?

My schematic shows the NGT-9000 pin 64 (RS232 TX2 for Wifi) connected to the AF-5500 pin 5 (RS232 RX3) which is Port 3. Port 3 of the AF-5500 is configured for ADSB 115K.

I did not do my own wiring but I do have a very detailed schematic. So I cannot say what your use of Pins 62 and 61 of the NGT-9000 would be sending to the EFIS.
