Since the AF-PILOT servos are fashioned after the TruTrak servos, what does that mean regarding the service bulletin that TruTrak just issued to keep the retaining screws and arms from becoming disconnected from the servos? Do the AF-PILOT servos have the same issue?

Can you be more specific? Going to their site, I only fine one SB dated January 21, 2009, posted over a year ago. Is this what you are refering to or is the SB you are refering to so new that it hasn't been posted to their web site?
Service Bulletins should have a date associated with their release. If you can post the date of the SB you are refering to, it would help the rest of us.

Check out the URL http://trutrakap.com/forum/showthread.php?t=256. It is in their forum, under Technical Support >> Service Bulletin Info. It was posted on 06/08/2010. The post is entitled "Servo Service Bulletin #060810".

Reply from Rob (Thanks Rob!):

"Our autopilot is a private labeled TruTrak VSGV and uses standard TruTrak servo's manufactured by TruTrak.

The service bulletin is for TruTrak servos and does apply to the ones that we sell.
