I suspect my manifold pressure transducer has stopped working after 120 hours. Is there a way to determine if it is the wiring or the transducer itself? It is definately an electrical problem, I have sometimes an indication, sometimes no indication at all.

Start with a general visual inspection of the area. Since the problem is more or less coming and going, I would check to see if anything is loose, becoming loose, ect. Do a pull test on the wires/pins on the transducer. See if anything comes out easily. After all this is complete (if you have not found any issues) I would grab 3 wires, and temporarily replace the current 3 wires. If this fixes the problem, install new wires between the screen and the transducer. If this does not work, and the problem continues. I would recommend another transducer. If you need my help with any of these steps, please feel free to email me or post a question on this thread. Thanks. (Isaac@Advanced-Flight-Systems.com)

Isaac,

how does the transducer work, analogue or digital?
