Map scrolling

I just got my two 5600s installed and was playing around which them, when I discovered that I could not scroll the map. The pointer will move with the joystick, but will not scroll the map. Is this normal behavior?

We are in the final testing stages of a major new software release with a new mapping engine. You will be able to pan across the country, select airspaces to get info on them. The new map terrain is very high resolution and you will be able to zoom in a lot closer.

we should have it released for Sun-N-Fun
